A patient with haemophilia and antibodies to factor VIII was treated with activated prothrombin concentrate (PPSB). Clinical manifestations of haemophilia subsided after treatment with PPSB, and the prolonged partial thromboplastin time shortened temporarily. There were no untoward side effects of the treatment.
