Abstract

This is a report on three operations for congenital deafness in a brother and a sister, presenting with a malposition of the facial nerve, and an aplasia of the aqueduct of Fallope and the oval window. A full restitution of hearing was obtained by a vestibular-attico teflon piston. The result is of more than ten years standing now for the older of the two cases.
