Abstract

A method of the replacement of the femoral head deep defects, resulting from the removal of pathologic foci, by means of combined auto-allografts, devised by the author, is described in the paper. This method allows for the transplantation of a bone autograft, filling up a greater portion of the defect, together with an osteocartillaginous allograft with a thin (up to 1 cm) spongy base.
