Bilateral corneal perforations in Stevens-Johnson syndrome.

Abstract

A case of Steven-Johnson syndrome was treated with topical and systemic corticosteroids. The patient developed bilateral simultaneous staphylococcal corneal ulcers. The ulcers eventuated in bilateral corneal perforations within 48 hours, in spite of topical, subconjunctival, and systemic antibiotic therapy.
