Abstract

The results of gas-chromatography assay of the fatty-acid composition of lipids of low-density lipoproteins contained in blood serum of patients after myocardium infarction are described in the paper. The obtained data can be used in clinical practice for substantiating a therapeutic approach with the aim of enhancing the treatment efficiency.

Serum cholesterol, triglycerides, apolipoprotein B (APOB)-containing lipoproteins (very low-density lipoprotein (VLDL), immediate-density lipoprotein (IDL), and low-density lipoprotein (LDL), lipoprotein A (LPA)) and the total cholesterol/high-density lipoprotein (HDL) cholesterol ratio are all connected in diseases. Here is the latest research.
