Abstract

Adrenal carcinomas constitute very rare diseases. In the case of adrenocortical carcinoma, cytostatic drugs can be used for palliation of symptoms, whereas no clearly effective cytostatic preparations have been found for the treatment of malignant pheochromocytoma. Radiotherapy can be used in both instances for the palliation of symptoms.
