Abstract

The treatment of the postoperative tumor bed after removal of clear-cell carcinoma (hypernephroma) constitutes a challenge to radiation therapy. Precise planning will deliver adequate dosage to the kidney bed and para-aortic lymph nodes while avoiding excessive dosage to the spinal cord and contralateral kidney.
