Abstract

Contrast cardioangiograms of 46 patients with combined rheumatic diseases of the heart were studied. Essential changes were found in the clinical anatomy of the heart. In accordance with these changes, the points of maximum sound and the zones of the spread of the murmurs in tricuspid valvular disease and mitral stenosis were displayed to the left, which should be borne in mind during physical examination of the heart and phonocardiography.
