Correction of the prominent occiput in Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome

Abstract

A peculiar prominence of the occiput is a variable feature of Beckwith-Wiedemann syndrome. Careful examination of the anatomy of this calvarial deformity in a recent case permitted an uncomplicated and gratifying surgical correction.
