Current status of fallopian tube transplantation

Abstract

Experience in both animals and humans has shown that it is technically feasible to transplant the vascularized oviduct alone, without the ethically complicating ovary, using a procedure compatible with a concurrent standard hysterectomy in the donor. But although the operation is well within the capability of many gynecologic surgeons, immunologic barriers still stand in the way of its widespread clinical utilization.

Allogenic & Autologous Therapies

Allogenic therapies are generated in large batches from unrelated donor tissues such as bone marrow. In contrast, autologous therapies are manufactures as a single lot from the patient being treated. Here is the latest research on allogenic and autologous therapies.
