Abstract

The nature of glycoside bond in extra-sugar component of 5'-hydroxymethycytidylic (5-OMS) nucleotides on DDVI phage DNA was studied. 79% of glucose in monoglucosylated 5-OMC and 50% of glucose residues in diglucosylated 5-OMC were found to be bound by beta-glucoside bond.
