Does the presence and site of myocardial ischemia on perfusion scintigraphy predict the occurrence and site of future myocardial infarction in patients with stable coronary artery disease?

Abstract

In 47 patients who had undergone myocardial scintigraphy, reversible perfusion abnormality was detected in only 28 segments (60%) that were the site of future acute myocardial infarction.
