Abstract

The purpose of the study was to determine the concentration of heparin to be added to iopamidol in order to assure adequate anticoagulant activity and tolerability. Iopamidol that contained heparin at a concentration of 3 U/ml showed the anticoagulant activity similar to ionic contrast agents, while maintaining excellent tolerability.
