Gardnerella vaginalis

Australian Family Physician
C Catterall

Abstract

This case commentary describes a common cause of vaginitis which is unfamiliar to many practising doctors because its status has been determined only in recent months. The commentary is based on a patient who presented to a Melbourne general practice to which the student was assigned as part of the 'infections in the community' programme.
