Icteric hepatitis in listeriosis?

Abstract

Icteric hepatitis was observed in a 21-year-old female patient. Titres of the agglutination reaction for listeria monocytogenes supported the likelihood of listeria infection. Further serological studies of potentially relevant viruses and bacteria remained negative.
