Abstract

A suturing hard contact lens used intraoperatively for penetrating keratoplasty helps stabilize the donor tissue and maintains a controlled anterior chamber. It offers improved tissue control during suturing of the graft. This minimizes manipulation of the donor tissue and protects the endothelium from contact with intraocular structures.
