Localized aspergillosis involving the nose and paranasal sinuses

Abstract

Two patients with non-invasive aspergillosis of the paranasal sinuses are reported. One patient had this disease in the maxillary sinus while the other had it in the ethmoid and sphenoid sinus. Caldwell-Luc and a transnasal ethmoidectomy operation were performed. The treatment and prognosis of this rare nasal infection are discussed.
