Abstract

During a six-year postoperative control of three patients the distal parts of the musculus rectus abdominis proved to be a favourable material for the plastic operation of the functional enlargement of the urinary bladder under preservation of the Nervus subcostalis XII. A weakness of the abdominal wall by the lacking part of the muscle was observed in no case.
