Metastasizing basal cell carcinoma of the nipple

Abstract

A case of basal cell carcinoma of the nipple metastatic to axillary lymph nodes in a 59-year-old man is reported. It is important to realize the malignant potential of basal cell carcinoma when it occurs in the nipple in consideration of more aggressive treatment than simple excision. A case report and review of the literature are presented.
