Proposta de método de gerência de dispositivos de telemedição restritos usando o LwM2M e redes LPWAN

Abstract

Smart Meters (SM) tem a função de coletar e transmitir dados dentro de Smart Grids (SG). Com o aumento de dispositivos deste tipo, surge a necessidade de que estes possam ser gerenciados. O protocolo Lightweight Machine to Machine (LwM2M), oferece uma pilha de software padronizado e com suporte para dispositivos restritos, permitindo um gerenciamento mais eficiente dentro do contexto de dispositivos restritos em Smart Grids. Quando associada a tecnologia de transmissão LoRa, é possível maximizar distâncias de transmissão e o consumo energético, se comparada as tecnologias convencionais. Este trabalho visa oferecer uma solução de gerenciamento aplicável à Smart Meters, utilizando o protocolo Lightweight Machine to Machine em redes LoRa. O sistema construído permite ogerenciamento de dispositivos e demostra de forma prática que as tecnologias LwM2M e LoRa podem ser uma alternativa para Smart Grids.
