Radioisotope measurements of regional lung function in bronchogenic carcinoma.

Abstract

Five out of 300 patients with bronchogenic carcinoma referred for pre-operative radioisotope imaging showed perfusion losses markedly in excess of regional ventilation impairment, a finding previously reported as being typical for pulmonary thrombeembolism.
