Reconstruction of the destroyed septal infrastructure

Abstract

Destruction of the nasal septum can produce cosmetic and functional disturbances and is most commonly caused by trauma, septal abscess, and inadequate septal surgery. A method of reconstruction of the destroyed septal infrastructure is presented using a preserved rib cartilage allograft.
