Reproducibility of exercise-induced ventricular premature beats

Abstract

Repeated maximum exercise testing with an intertest interval of one hour is a valid model for testing drug efficacy and safety on ventricular arrhythmias occurring during exercise. In the two consecutive exercise tests the mean total number of VES was 182 and 184 respectively and the slope of the regression equation relating both tests was close to unity.

Atrial Fibrillation

Atrial fibrillation is a common arrhythmia that is associated with substantial morbidity and mortality, particularly due to stroke and thromboembolism. Here is the latest research.

Arrhythmia

Arrhythmias are abnormalities in heart rhythms, which can be either too fast or too slow. They can result from abnormalities of the initiation of an impulse or impulse conduction or a combination of both. Here is the latest research on arrhythmias.
