Abstract

The chromato-mass-spectrometric [13C] urease breath test is a promising tool for quantitative analysis of abundance of bacteria Helicobacter pylori and resistance to the antibacterial therapy. It was shown that the control of bacteria eradication at the time intervals recommended by conventional protocol and the second line therapy allow excluding the repeated attacks of disease associated with Helicobacter pylori in 10% of patients.
