Rheumatic activity in patients with heart valve replacements

Abstract

We made a comparative analyses of the clinical, laboratory and histological findings between two groups of patients: Group A was composed of rheumatic patients operated upon for valvular substitution. Group B included patients who were taken to cardiac surgery for non rheumatic reasons.
