Abstract

In 6 patients with stable cardiac dysrhythmias (ectopic beats) an oral dose of 300 mg propafenone was given in eight-hour intervals for 4-6 days. A significant correlation between serum concentration and prolongation of PQ-time interval was found. Therefore the changes of PQ-time interval can be used for the control of dose of propafenone.
