Abstract

A 64-year old man developed an aneurysm at the distal anastomosis of a carotido-carotid PTFE-interposition which was treated by placement of a stent. Angiographic and computertomographic follow-up examinations after 9 months demonstrated the complete disappearance of the aneurysm after implantation of a self-expanding uncovered stent (Wallstent).
