Abstract

This study aims to determine whether individual academic supervision can improve the performance of teachers of Christian Religious Education (PAK). This research was conducted at the Immanuel Vocational High School (SMK) Medan, located on Jalan Gatot Subroto, Medan, North Sumatra and took place during the odd semester of 2016 involving 5 PAK teachers as respondents using the school action method consisting of several stages, namely starting from the planning, implementation, evaluation and reflection stages. Prior to the action, it was obtained that the cumulative observations of the PAK Teacher Performance Index in the Pre-Observation stage revealed that the average PAK teacher performance index score was in the Fairly Good category. In the observation from pre-observation to the first cycle of action the PAK teacher performance indicators in planning learning increased to good (four people) and one person did not change. On the indicator of implementing learning, it increases to be good (1 person). Likewise the indicators evaluating learning, improved to good (4 people) and 1 person did not experience changes.
