Abstract

The clinical management of diabetic pregnant woman includes: pre conception management to improve the pregnancy out come because poor glycemic control in early pregnancy in insulin-dependent diabetes is associated with an increased with an increased risk for spontaneous abortion and congenital malformations. management during pregnancy for control for insulin requirement during pregnancy diagnosis of any congenital malformation to decrease the complication of diabetes during pregnancy such as retinopathia diabetica and nephropathia diabetica for evaluation the growth of the fetus. for fetal well being monitoring.
