The glycosaminoglycans of the bone marrow erythroblast islands in the rat

Abstract

The glycosaminoglycans (GAG) types of normal rat bone marrow's erythroblastic islands were found to be similar to that of human macrophages. Induced anaemia increased the sulphated GAG.
