Abstract

An investigation on the superiority of autogenous cancellous bone grafts compared to cortical grafts in guinea pigs by means of the micro-hardness test of Vickers revealed an improvement of hardness of the transplants as well as of the frame structure, i.e. an amelioration of physical bone properties due to medication with a calcium-vitamin D2 combination (Frubiase Calcium forte).

Allogenic & Autologous Therapies

Allogenic therapies are generated in large batches from unrelated donor tissues such as bone marrow. In contrast, autologous therapies are manufactures as a single lot from the patient being treated. Here is the latest research on allogenic and autologous therapies.
