The possibility of repair in joints deprived of hyaline cartilage

Abstract

Based on prolonged previous studies on experimental animals, the author used the method described in human beings. Segments of cartilage removed from the chondrosternal junction were used to cover joint surfaces in the tibial plateau deprived of hyaline cartilage due to wear phenomena.
