Abstract

The authors have developed a method of continuous intraarterial infusion of drugs by catheterization of the descending artery of the knee and used it in complex treatment of 11 patients with diabetic microangiopathy of lower extremities complicated by pyo-necrotic lesions of the foot and 6 patients with aorto-iliac segment and III stage ischemia of the foot. The method was shown to be highly efficient as compared with the control group.
