Abstract

The efficiency of treating 163 patients with first detected disseminated pulmonary tuberculosis in the past 30 years is analyzed. The efficiency of antibacterial therapy has been reducing with each decade owing to the detection of advanced diseases with multiple destructive changes, patient incompliance due to alcoholism, rare uses of intravenous and inhalation route of administering antituberculous drugs.
