Jan H Schakelaar

Abstract

Transient global amnesia is a classical disease. It presents with an abrupt onset of anterograde amnesia. It's incidence and recurrence rate is low. In this case report a 54-year old white male is presented with two attacks of loss of memory within a year. Recurrent transient global amnesia is rare. Recognition and explaining the good nature of the symptoms to the patient and their families is an important task for the doctor.
