Abstract

The aims of this review are to summarize the relevant published literature regarding cord blood (CB) graft characteristics and their impact on transplantation outcomes, to present new analyses from patients transplanted with CB units from the New York Blood Center's National Cord Blood Program, and to propose new guidelines for prioritizing CB unit selection.
